Your privacy is very important to Coppens Warenhuis. We therefore adhere to the privacy law. This means that your data is safe with us and that we always use it properly. In this privacy statement, we explain what we do on the webshop www.CoppensWarenhuis.nl with the information we learn about you.

Processing orders
When you place an order with us, we use your personal data to handle it properly. We may then provide your personal data to our delivery service to have the order delivered to you. We also receive information about your payment from your bank.

We store this information until your order has been completed and for seven years thereafter (which is the statutory retention period).

With our portal, you gain access to a management environment where you can set, provide, and change things yourself for the webshop. We keep track of what you have done and when, so that there is evidence of this.

Contact form and Newsletter
You can ask us questions or submit requests via the contact form.

For this, we use your email address, telephone number, and name and address details. We do this based on your consent. We store this information until we are sure that you are satisfied with our response.

You can subscribe to our newsletter. It contains news, tips, and information about our products and services. You can cancel this subscription at any time. Each newsletter contains an unsubscribe link. You can also report this through your account or through the portal.
Your email address will only be added to the list of subscribers with your consent. This data will be stored until you cancel your subscription.

Your account
For certain parts of our webshop, you must register first. You then need to provide information about yourself and choose a username. We create an account with this, which you can log into using that username and a chosen password.

For this, we use your name and address details, telephone number, email address, IP address, billing address, and payment details. We do this based on your consent. We store this information until you close the account.

We store this information so you do not have to enter it repeatedly and so we can contact you more easily if necessary for the webshop. You can change information through your account whenever you want.

Location data

Sharing with other companies or institutions
We only provide your personal data to other companies or institutions if it is necessary for our webshop or if we are legally obligated to do so (for example, if the police request this in case of suspected crime).
